Design
The critical basis for generating attractive product and service advertising should be a
logo that commands attention. It should also give some hint to the company's product,
service or philosophy. Well designed logos can actually enhance all aspects of a company's
communication with the public. A poorly designed logo can make even a well designed
document look unprofessional. The best analogy I can think of would be attending a wedding
wearing work boots with a tuxedo! More examples of Logos can be found on the
Links page incorporated in web site design. |

This
logo was specially designed for Jett Williams (daughter of Hank Williams) to emphasize
her specialization in rare vintage recordings of uniquely
American Traditional Country & Western Music Artists. The compound logo
was created to provide dual functionality for the web and offset press
reproduction on two backgrounds. |
 |
This
web logo was commissioned by a new internet
company to represent its music related media sales. The logo was
purposely designed to stay fresh should the company decide to
expand into other digital media markets in the future. |
 |
This
corporate identity logo was
created for a company that markets innovative underwater metal detectors and accessory
equipment. The design enabled dual use in printed form and on the internet. |
 |
An
additional logo was crafted for the
same company (above) to market one of their treasure hunting products. Note the subliminal message
the background imaging gives and the central graphic element common with the previous
logo. |
 |
Again
another logo for the same company as
a product identity. The image was developed around an early engraving of a famous
Confederate Colonel known as the "Gray Ghost". The actual product color scheme
is gray and black and its primary target market area is the Southeastern U.S. |

 |
Corporate
identity logos should
often times be designed so that they can be used in simple black and white as well as
full-color. This company markets a unique new type of electronic current sensor. |
 |
This
logo was developed specifically
for the internet. The client was developing a new robust search engine. You'll need to
click the thumbnail to see the symbolism a fading graphic element plays. |
 |
This
project was a makeover of an existing
logo; a simple black and white rendering of a big cat. In this case, the printer was
upgrading his services to include higher quality color printing. The logo was destined for
use on their new web site. |
 |
This logo was created to express a
national organization's principles in dealing with a growing American problem. It was
purposely designed to be clean, simple and very medical looking. The logo was designed to
print in spot colors as well as black and white. |
 |
This company's
product is made of
glass. This logo was designed for elegant low-cost, time-saving stationery that would be
generated by the client's in-house high-quality inkjet printer. |
 |
Another
simple, yet revealing logo
destined for economical spot color printing. This company develops electronic detection
systems for automated machinery. |
 |
This
project was another makeover of an
organizational logo and slogan. The organization was long established, but they never had
a solid unified graphic image. Their logo was just type, set rarely in the same face on
any brochure or any stationery item. The logo easily converts to all color models and the
futuristic typeface supports the slogan. |
 |
The
famous gentleman featured here in this
web site logo is this artist's favorite guitar player since he started playing himself.
The imagery features the many phases of his career. |
 |
Another simple logo
graphically featuring a
distinct advantage of the client's product; known well by all who use them and competitive
brands. The logo is easily adaptable to all color models. |
 |
Logos need not be complex to get their
owner's intent conveyed. This organization markets their ability to repair fractures in
employee/employer relations. |
 |
This company's
products are
high-quality cables designed for those with demanding tastes in audio and visual
equipment. The company exec's wanted something wild with a flare capable of being offset
printed and viewed on the internet. It features a "psychedelic twister"! |
 |
A
logo purposely designed to
reinforce its name. |
