| Below
are selected examples of my general graphic design work. Please click the
thumbnails left of the descriptive text to obtain a larger, more detailed
view of the work. There are three categories of the Gallery to view. Web
work can also be viewed using the URL's on the Links
page. Catalogs,
Brochures, Stationery & Misc.
This category displays a few more examples of what I have created for my clients. This
"Gallery" is by no means all that I have ever accomplished. It only partially
represents what I have been involved in for the past few years. If what you see is of
interest and you would like to discuss a project with me, I welcome you to go to the contact page at any time. Your inquiries and
business would be most welcomed. |

Another
new CD jewel insert designed for the "King of Guitars", Nokie
Edwards. Featured on the CD is the title and namesake of the guitar we also
designed together called the "Hitchhiker". The setting for the CD
cover quite naturally depicts the environment of a hitchhiker! |

This
coin design celebrates the 350th anniversary of the
founding of my home town. I was commissioned to design this coin
specifically to celebrate this event. The obverse portrait was
hand-illustrated and adapted from an early engraving. The reverse features
an illustrated street layout of the early settlement. All elements were
converted to digital and text was added. The design was proof-minted in .999
Silver and Bronze. |

A
new CD liner I am proud to have been asked to design for the "King
of Guitars", Nokie Edwards. This album design centers around the fact
that Nokie is known world-wide for his current guitar artistry and his past
accomplishments with The Ventures as their lead guitarist for many years.
The CD is appropriately titled "No Boundaries". |
|
 |
A
new 2001 CD booklet cover designed for David Frizzell. I'm
proud to say the album is climbing the charts quickly and is getting rave
reviews from the listener and the viewer. The design is centered around the
title cut of the album, "You've Just Been Robbed by Jesse James".
It utilizes the web site logo per the client's request. |

 |
This
CD liner was commissioned as a redesign from a previous
cover to better convey the "distance & time" theme for rising
country star Bobby Seals. It combines the professional photography of Gordy
Collins with my own digital background photography from a popular local
setting. |

There is only
one real photograph taken
with a camera on this catalog cover. The rest of the objects were individually captured on
the bed of my scanner and digitally positioned. Much expense was saved using this
technique, resulting in reduced cost to the client and time gained to meet a tight
deadline for release. |

A
simple, yet effective catalog cover
utilizing an existing grayscale background photo. The photo was scanned and digitally
colorized. The logo went through a makeover. |
|
 |
This is a
contents page for the inside front
cover of the previous catalog example. The side color bar and color swatches create a
color code scheme and quick reference to other pages in the catalog. |
|
 |
An
internal page from a 4-page brochure.
The layout was created to compliment the perspective of the product views. The photography
was created independently in advance of the project. Being flexible and creative saved the
client extra charges for new photography. |

This
illustration was created for the
front cover of a catalog for a supply company that provides products specifically to
churches. |
|
 |
A
flyer that advertises products
targeted for the military market. It also displays an invitation and directions to their
trade show booth. The back side (not shown) contains a contact form for customers wishing
to receive further information while at the trade show. |
|
 |
A flyer
designed with a future. Intended
initially as a two-sided spec. sheet hand out for a trade show, the front of this flyer
can easily be converted to a full-page color magazine advertisement when needed. |
|
 |
This illustration was designed as a
custom
desktop wallpaper for use with a popular computer operating system. It was designed to
appear seamless with the default background color at high color levels. |
|
 |
Another
digitally rendered illustration
for a newsletter supporting an announcement about improvement in newsletter typeface size
for the readership with challenged eyesight. |
|
 |
This
long-time popular book went through a
makeover to modernize its exterior to match updated revisions to its interior. |
|
 |
This
business card layout incorporates a new
logo digitally rendered to convey the image of the client's working media. The client had
no consistent logo or image prior to this card's design. |
|
 |
This
background illustration, destined for a poster,
utilizes ordinary low-cost clip-art elements that have been modified to convey a city's
program to raise awareness to its problems. |
|
 |
The
finale features a digitally cartooned
illustration that was used for the banner page of a homegrown web site. |
